Leadership Gathering Report 2025

Connective is excited to announce the release of our 2025 Leadership Gathering Report!

This year’s Gathering brought together leaders from across BC’s justice, health, housing, and social sectors, along with Indigenous voices, to engage in candid, cross-sector conversations. The theme, “Public Health, Public Safety, and Complex Needs: Finding Common Ground,” explored new ways to work together on the intersecting crises of homelessness, addiction, overdose, and untreated mental health challenges.

Over two days of panels, group discussions, and case studies, participants collaborated to identify real, actionable solutions. The resulting recommendations aim to bridge longstanding gaps, strengthen collaboration, and ultimately improve outcomes for the individuals and communities we serve.

Moving forward from this year’s Leadership Gathering, Connective will work with willing partners to sustain momentum, encourage action on the recommendations, and identify ways to advance these objectives together.
