About Duncan Supportive Housing

Duncan Supportive Housing provides housing and wraparound supports for individuals experiencing or at risk of homelessness in the community. The 48-unit program has 24/7 staffing and provides support services including meal programs, life and employment skills training, and access to health resources.

Connective is committed to using innovative and tailored approaches to help residents develop the tools to meet their needs and goals. The goal of the program is to provide housing along with the necessary supports and connections to services that will enable residents to maintain it long-term. Residents may choose to stay permanently, or they may later decide to move into more independent housing.

We are grateful for the opportunity to expand our services across the housing spectrum in Duncan. Over the coming months we will continue to work to identify additional supports and partnerships to support residents, with more details available closer to the program start date. We are excited to work with neighbours and our wider community to ensure the program has a positive impact on residents, and the neighbourhood.

How to Apply

Applicants must submit a completed supportive housing registry form to BC Housing. It is recommended that an updated form be submitted every 6 months. The application can be found online, or at your local BC Housing branch.

A Vulnerability Assessment Tool (VAT) is another useful item that BC Housing recommends people complete to better qualify for supportive housing. For more information on VAT’s, or to inquire on the status of your supportive housing application, contact your local BC Housing branch.
