About Rent Bank BC
Rent Bank BC provides interest-free loans to help low to moderate income renters who are experiencing challenges with paying their rent and/or essential utilities (gas/hydro).
The program offers interest-free financial assistance up to $1500. Loans are paid directly to the landlord or utility company, and repayment agreements range from six to 36 months.
This program is made possible by funding provided by The City of Nanaimo, The Regional District of Nanaimo and the Province of British Columbia.
