Connective is proud to support communities across Vancouver Island. Through a coordinated range of programs and services, we partner with communities, agencies, and systems to deliver integrated supports that respond to local needs.

Our work in this region spans housing, justice, outreach, and community based supports, meeting people where they are and helping build long term stability.

In October 2025, Connective, Connective Kamloops, and Connective Nanaimo merged into one unified organization, marking the completion of a multiyear process. The merger is a step toward long-term sustainability and a strategic opportunity to collaborate with government and partners to drive innovation in the nonprofit sector.

As community needs grow more complex, resources must stretch further and in new ways. Mergers like this help nonprofits build capacity, improve efficiency, and ensure every dollar invested in programs has the greatest possible impact.

Housing and Recovery Supports

We connect people with safe, stable housing and provide the supports needed to maintain it long term. This includes affordable, transitional, and supportive housing, as well as therapeutic communities focused on recovery from substance use and building community.

Community Living

We provide individualized residential supports for adults eligible for Community Living BC (CLBC), including those requiring structured living environments or experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Supports may include staffed residential programs, independent living, or home share, with a focus on independence and community inclusion.
