About Elmbrook Supportive Housing
Elmbrook Supportive Housing provides safe, secure housing and wraparound supports to people at risk of or experiencing homelessness in Surrey, with a specific focus on Indigenous-identifying populations. The 26-unit program offers 24/7 support services that are tailored to the self-identified needs and goals of each resident.
Residents are provided with two meals each day and have access to case planning, life skills support, and connections to community resources. The program also has an on-site Cultural Support Worker who provides culturally appropriate services and support, as well as an Elder who participates in Elmbrook’s cultural programming, helping residents strengthen cultural connections, access traditional teachings, and foster a sense of belonging and community.
People living in supportive, subsidized housing in Surrey may choose to stay permanently, or they may later decide to move into more independent housing.
