About Port Hardy Affordable Housing
Connective is honoured to have purchased three affordable housing buildings in Port Hardy through the Rental Protection Fund. The Rental Protection Fund is a BC government initiative that provides nonprofits with funding to purchase and manage rental buildings that would have otherwise been sold to the private market. In exchange, non-profits agree to preserve and maintain rents at affordable rates.
Individuals who are interested in living in a Connective affordable housing building can email rentals@connective.ca to join the waitlist. New residents will need to complete a Housing Income Testing Form to ensure eligibility under BC Housing Housing Income Limits (HILs).
