About Juniper House
This licensed care program offers a safe and supportive home for adults and seniors who are living with dementia or acquired brain injuries, and referred by Northern Health. Staff provide 24/7 wraparound support services that are tailored to the self-identified needs and goals of each resident, allowing them to continue having their care needs met but while living more independently in the community .
The program features 14 units, 10 of which are dedicated to supporting seniors who qualify for long term care services and are living with dementia. In a separate part of the building, four units will house adults who are living with an acquired brain injury.
All residents are provided with meals and have access to individual case planning and community resources. The facility features individual units with shared bathrooms and common spaces, and an outdoor garden space.
